Yifat Oron

Yifat Oron Joined Vertex in late 2002 and became a partner at 2007. As a partner Yifat works with companies in the Greentech, Semiconductors and Enterprise SW spaces.

In over 7 years at Vertex, Yifat has participated in the investment process of several of Vertex companies, including Identify (sold to BMC), Voltaire (IPO at NASDAQ) SMIC (IPO at NASDAQ), Wisair and CorrelSense. Yifat currently sits on the board of: dbMotion, SolarEdge, Aternity, Leadspace, ActionBase, and Asocs.

Yifat is also very active with Vertex pre-seed investment program through the TechnionSeed owned incubator, and as such serves as Vertex representative in the incubator’s Board of directors.

Prior to joining Vertex Venture Capital, Mrs. Oron was an investment banker in the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York. Mrs. Oron also worked as a management consultant for a leading Israeli economic consulting firm, Dan Tahori Management Consulting Ltd.

Mrs. Oron spent three years at the Directorate of R&D of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the role of the Assistant to the Director of Economics, Budget & Control Department.
